Issue Summary
I think a lot of people expect the directories to be presented in a way similar to DMOZ, old Yahoo!, or Mosets Tree given that the description compares the module to DMOZ and Yahoo.
Here are links to graphics/examples of those sites:
DMOZ
Mosets Tree
I think a lot of people would find it very valuable (do a search for DMOZ or Mosets Tree on drupal.org to get an idea).
It seems like this might be possible through theming or perhaps as an option in the admin interface?
Would this be a possibility for the next release?
and am I missing something that already gives Drupal that functionality?

I don't use this module as I prefer to roll my own with CCK and views but my directory browse page looks kind of like that. My full tutorial is some months off but I just put a few tidbits up here: http://shellmultimedia.com/articles/directory-browse-page
