Nevertheless I have activated 'Content Subscriptions' module, I can not find where I could manage settings for node subscriptions.
Before, I could subscribe to any node on 'subscriptions/add/node/2941', now this URL does not work. I am not sure if this is a UI or code bug for missing fucntion.

yngens commentedI finally found it. There is a small collapsed link just under the next of the node. This should be noted to users somewhere in Readme.text not to confuse them.
Anyway, I find this change from previous version of the module completely uncomfortable. I believe, at least this collapsible link should be expanded by default. Otherwise few people will notice it. But I really hope there can be a special url, visiting which a reader can subscribe to the page, like it was before (Ex.:'subscriptions/add/node/2941') This is useful to customize node templates. Hiding node subscription into a form makes customization of the subscription function impossible.
Hence, I change my request to enable url-type node subscription.
Thanks!

salvisIt's funny -- we've had it expanded before, and everyone was saying it needed to be collapsed...
I have yet to fully understand in what situations you would use a subscription url. Can you explain yours?

alex_shapka commentedYesterday, we have upgraded the module and now our subscription links under articles are broken. I guess this link could be a good example of why direct URL is necessary: http://www.gazeta.kg/inosmi/2007-12-26/2944 Please look 'Subscribe' link in Actions section under the text.

salvisAh, you're combining it with a login link! That was my "missing link." We'll work on it...

salvisOk, this has been restored. We now have a full selection of links in the node form -- just pick your favorite...
@alex.shapiro: Your Subscribe link is
http://www.gazeta.kg/user/login?destination=/subscriptions/add/node/2944
but it should be
http://www.gazeta.kg/user/login?destination=subscriptions/add/node/2944
(no slash after the equal sign)!
Thanks for hanging in there!
