well, i was doing some reformatting to my pages, and i noticed this misbehavior
when i italicize the text in a node and submit it to the frontpage, it makes all the text below it in italic

i investigated more, and i saw that when i italicize the text in any node on the frontpage and save, all the text below it(not above it) gets the italic formatting

i'll delve more into this, i suspect it may be a bug or smth, but, please, can anyone in the meanwhile point me in the right direction here?

ps i am using drupal 5.5 and those additionally modules(maybe this proves helpful)

install the html corrector module and activate the html corrector filter. everything is italicized because there's no closing tag in the teaser.

i have noticed this, when italicize the teaser then close the tags then do whatever i want everything is fine

i installed the module
and tried to write down smth but it didn't do the desired job
any suggestions here?

You can hijack a function from htmlcorrector for your own purposes. Copy the entire function _htmlcorrector_process() to your theme's template file and rename it to something like mytheme_htmlcorrector(). Then in the node template where the teaser is called, simply replace $node->teaser with mytheme_htmlcorrector($node->teaser)
