Hi I am a bit familiar with php, enought to follow instructions.
were what should I change on your module so when someone submits a story instead of typing in the tags they can
choose from a drop down box or similar like the categories?I say this because I will like for them to see the ones I created to give them
ideas on how to tag it with out them having a blank box.
Thanks!

alliax commentedI think you simply have to go to administer/category and edit the Tags vocabulary and uncheck the FREETAGGING checkbox. Then you need to add terms to this vocabulary.

rek2 commentedHi? help :-(

mercmobily commentedHo,
By design, tags are words the user types. They are not something that is taken from a menu -- they wouldn't be tags if they were...
Have a look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tag_%28metadata%29
By design, Drigg requires tags. This is probably not a very sensible idea, possibly -- the real reason why it's in the form at all is that the Pligg importer needs it. Over time, I can only assume that the Pligg importer will be less and less relevant.
For now, what you can do is this:
* Have a tag taxonomy associated with the Drigg scoops
* Configure Drigg so that it's "happy"
* Disable the tags taxonomy, and create a new one which satisfies your requirements.
Please let me know if you have any problems with this.
Merc.

rek2 commentedI see.. :-/ well I try to work with what you said, but will be nice to be able to have sub categories that is basically what I am looking for. :-)
Thanks
