Major site crash, I am not sure what happened. The site has worked fine for weeks. This morning it wasn't working. The last thing I did was ftp logo's into the logo folder. Where do I start to fix it? I tried running the update.php but I get a error message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /mounted-storage/home75c/sub003/sc43240-JNSP/www/update.php on line 568

This is what I see when I go to the site:

exactly what version of drupal is in use ?

have you look at update.php, since its claiming a parse error, this would lead to a type.

headers already sent is usually attributed to blank space at the end of files see: http://drupal.org/node/1424

the variable table needs to be repaired using the repair options in a tool like phpmyadmin.

It's version 5.2

5.2 ? you 3 security releases behind.

I'd inspect all my files for code that isn't supposed to be there.

as a side note, you should subscribe to the security newsletter using your profile and keep your drupal code base up to date.

More info would be helpful. Looks like some of your database has crashed. Try going into your database administration (phpmyadmin) and repair the tables that have crashed. http://drupal.org/node/2597
