Show comment teasers

I'm looking for something a lot like this to replicate a feature I had on my old Wordpress site.

It listed the 10 most recently commented upon blog entries with the author and date of up to 3 recent comments under the post title. eg:

Big box on our doorstep (37)
• Steve W at 01:57 PM, 01/06
• Jeremy at 10:08 AM, 01/04
• George C at 08:23 AM, 12/23

2008: the year of Carolina North? (2)
• Steve W at 09:17 PM, 01/05
• Tom Roche at 11:48 PM, 01/03

Welcome back to Chapel Hill, y'all (33)
• Katrina R at 06:07 PM, 01/05
• Tracey C. at 02:04 PM, 01/04
• Suzanne Haff at 08:59 PM, 08/22

Any change this module can have this as an option? Or can folks suggest a hack...?
