If I understood this correctly, the Top Referrers log is supposed to show links pointing to your web site from outside your web site. But in my log, I see links with my own domain name. In fact a whole list of them.
Can someone tell me if there is a setting somewhere that I could change to make it show only external referrers?

same thing, list is predominantly links from other pages in my own site

Hi, i found the same problem and discovered that it was because I have full URL links in my site, so instead of say 'http://mysite.com/mypage' it should be '/mypage'

Just remove the (www) part from the web page name in the browser u r using, then u will c external only
