I find it irratating that I down load a mod, and have to install no less than 3 more to make it work, and with those three come three more each until you have spent and hour downloading and uploading files to be installed for one thing to work, couldn't you make "service paks" Put it all together in one file?
The other thing I notice and is driving me nuts, It says I have to enable one thing to enable something else, and the one thing I have to enable seems to have a missing part that it doesn't tell me what it is. How do I get that information.
# You must enable the Embedded Media Field module to install Embedded Media Import.
# You must enable the Embedded Media Field module to install Embedded Media Thumbnail.
# You must enable the Embedded Media Field module to install Embedded Image Field.
# You must enable the Embedded Media Field module to install Embedded Video Field.
Provides an engine for modules to integrate various 3rd party content providers, such as Video Neighborhood, Image Neighborhood, and Audio Neighborhood.
Depends on: Content (missing)
What Content? My adsense says the same thing.

dependencies what you are complaining about. Modules depend on functions inside other modules why should each module reinvent the wheel ?
content module is part of CCK, and you need CCK to use field modules. like emfield.module which is a CCK addon.
The adsense module on the other hand, has nothing to do with the CCK.module at which point you may have read the notice incorrectly. Adsense depends on the profile.module being enabled. This is so you can allow your users to add their adsense account # and create a revenue sharing site.

My posts & comments are usually dripping with sarcasm.
If you ask nicely I'll give you a towel : )
Content is a module, Content
Content is a module, Content Construction Kit, aka CCK.
It's impractical to package together all the modules together that have dependencies, because there's so much overlap that there would be a lot of redundancy. You'll also notice that in most module listings, they do list dependencies.
Thanks all
I have been at this all day, so getting a little frustrated.
