I currently am trying to find out a solution and have had no luck as of yet. Am using Drupal 5 and I am have created a new content-type (CCK is installed), This new content type is to keep track of an item. So I have selected a few fields that are pretty much unchanging. However, there are a few fields that are changing everyday if not a few times during the day. So, I am wondering if there is a way to have a "quick edit." So that a user does not have to go to the edit screen and have to make sure he/she doesn't accidentally zero something else out. It is for use on my companies intranet (we are currently developing) and I need figure this out soon. I would really appreciate any help in this matter and I have racking my brains and search any relevant documentation and I have come up dry.

Please Help

investigate the JSTools.module, specifically the active edit module that comes with it.

I looked into this module and I am still playing around with it but it doesn't seem to like the node and how it is setup. I am getting very frustrated with this issue it seems to be haunting me. When they say the learning curve for Drupal is steep they weren't joking.

I am still looking for a good fix.
