Drupal & Information System

Hi All,
I have a site about movies, something like imdb.com.
i have a big database with titles, actors, dvds, etc...

I have been playing around with Drupal 5.x and it is fantastic,
but at it basic configuration its great mainly for content sites like magazines or portal with lots of articles and stuff like that.

my main problem/concern is how do i model the relationships between entities in my db, like titles and person for instance,
how do i model this using the drupal node system, a title is not exactly a node, and if so how will i represent it, is it the plot of the title, what if there are more then one plot...

there is the the Sony music site, which use Drupal - http://musicbox.sonybmg.com/ . its a pretty nice site and a pretty close example of what i need.

i really believe that CMS like Drupal is the way to go and I will be glad if someone here could give me advice or direct me to the correct way to look at this issue, or maybe more sites that uses this similar approach.

Thanks
