Just wondering if node relativity has any plans to port to drupal 6.0.
Thanks.

darius commentedYes, definitely, there will be a port, but I am not sure when. Probably within the next month or so.

chipway commentedHi,
I tried in 5.7 and it works well. A great module in fact.
I tried aswell in 6.x dev. Here I have a problem : When I click on "Create a new Child type", I go to the general Content-type creation page to choose the content-type that I want.
If I create a new CT, I don't have the relativity links.
But if I add the relation in the Relativity Table, it works. May be it lacks a token some where in the "Create a new Child type" link.
Any plan to go further on D6 port ?
Thank you.

chipway commentedI get this error on the Display settings tab of Node Relativity Config
Fatal error: Call to undefined function views_load_cache() in /home/xxx/yyyy/sites/all/modules/relativity/relativity.module on line 1684
Any idea please ?
Thank you.

chipway commentedWhen triyng to "Attach existing" Content in relativity, I get (under user 1) "Page not found
The requested page could not be found. "
Thank you

darius commentedDrupal 6 version is not complete yet, so these errors are not surprising. I am hoping someone will take up the task to finish the update. Thanks,
Darius

Uersu commentedI just saw that the update status of the module now says "Node Relativity 6.x-1.x-dev (2008-Jul-12)
Project not supported: This project is no longer supported, and is no longer available for download. Disabling everything included by this project is strongly recommended!"
So, is this official and can you also add this to the project page?
What are alternatives to this module that can be used?
(I need something that allows me to create parent/child relationship in cck node types (projects and notes about the projects). How can I have a button/link on a project page to add a note to it?)
Thanks
Urs

darius commentedNo, it's nothing as dire as that. I just removed 6-dev from the module's front page (still available in "View all releases"), because it's in development, with obvious shortcomings (displaying existing relationships works, but attaching and removing still needs to be implemented). I wanted to prevent users reporting such issues as bugs.

illuminaut commentedI too am hoping for some progress. The lack of a generic way to define relationships between nodes is the one reason holding me back from using drupal 6 for my latest project. The core book module just doesn't cut it, using node references is extremely awkward for end-users, and other modules like Node Hierarchy aren't flexible enough.
