Description

Hi,

The features of the module are just as applicable to an event review as they are to minutes, I would like to see this module used for duel purpose, I have done this simply by changing "post minutes for the event" to "post an event review or the minutes of this event" and "view the event review or minutes of this event", but this is a hack.

It would be great if the module was worded more generically and the minutes/review acquired the same texonomy as the event itself.

Thanks for reading...

And on the back of this it would be great if we could:
a) split minutes from review (same functionality but different links)

b) have different privileges to enable creation / view / edit for minutes and the same (create/edit view) for reviews

thanks

I think there are some other modules you can explore to add more than one child. For right now, I'm going to continue to only have one dependent node. You can probably play around with CCK and ConTemplate to get something similar to what you want.

I should note that the child node should take on the taxonomy terms of the parent. If it doesn't, please file it as a bug.

I will add the ability to have more control over the links text to the Drupal 6 version.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, sorry I think we are partially at cross purposes.

I would like the event organiser / poster to be able to add event review or minutes.

It would be good if the link was changed to Event Review / Meeting Minutes - just to make it more generic than meeting minutes.

Finally, it would be fantastic if the meeting minutes gained the same OG audience as the event that it is attached to automatically.

thanks

Richard

The Drupal 6 version allows you to control the wording of the links to create or view the minutes, so you could rename the text there.

There is a module (og_minutes) which hasn't been updated to 6, although I hope it will soon, which restricts the user list to members of the current organic group.
