Hello everyone. Today I installed the HTMLarea plugin with the latest Xinha to the /modules directory of drupal. Next, I've enabled the module and checked it's settings. When I now click on the the 'new content / page' link, IE starts loading some thing (I guess HTMLarea), but then returns an error (unfortunately in Dutch) in a dialog box, telling me that the action has been terminated. With other words: I can't load the page.

I'm working on a brand new Drupal 4.6 installation. I've read something about resetting the HTMLarea settings; I've done that, and now every setting is displayed twice in the list..

What am I doing wrong?

we´re not realy sure there are some others (including myself) having this issue and it´s logged and we´re working with gordon trying to figure it out.

I think I get the same error. When I try to access a page where a text area should have htmlarea, I get a violent: 'Internet Explorer cannot open [URL]. Operation Aborted.

it´s better if you submit any issues with htmlarea here:

Basically IE sux!

What it is, is that in IE you cannot be modifying the DOM of <head> which IE is parsing it. it causes IE to stop.

As I said, IE sux.

When I get home on Sunday or Monday I will look at it and may need to move all the including js down to the footer where it was before.

This is because IE sux!

I thought that HTMLArea/Xinha had fixed this, and I could move it back to the top where it would be a little more look alot better.

I do not have access to a windows machine here at lca, so I will have to take a look in a couple of days.
