Description
Support for Drupal 6.0 would be nice.
The patch posted previously does a lot of extra patching. I think only two change *need* to be made for Markdown/Smartypants to work in Drupal 6 -- those are in marksmarty.info
Tiny patch is attached.

this patch failed for me (I think because it's against a tarball instead of cvs) re-rolled against CVS.

committed. there is still a NOTICE in the module which I aim to eradicate now.
