Are there any plans to integrate this functionality with GMap (http://drupal.org/project/GMap) and/or views_checkboxes (http://drupal.org/project/views_checkboxes)?

I'm working on a GMap view that shows/hides pinpoints based on exposed taxonomy filters, and I'd love for it to update without having to hit "Submit".

Hello jesss,

That sounds like a very desirable feature and worth following up/integrating into the module. In order to do so I will need to take a closer look at the gmap module and how it functions within views to see how it could work, and may be able to get integrated into updates I have planned for the module sometime in May.
