I saw this issue was resolved for 4.7 here:

But I have been unable to fix it in 5. The image spacing problem only seems to be occuring on the Image Gallery page but I have a user that reports its happening on the home page in IE7 (the mission statement).

This is also occuring on the homepage in IE6... not sure if galleries is still doing it, but this is weird.
