This is a start of the Afrikaans translation for Drupal. Attached is aggregator.module's translation. Translating each file one by one, and will upload as I complete them.

Kobus, please stop posting your translation this way. Read http://drupal.org/node/11130 for the proper way.

Thanks for the great work.

Hmm, the referenced page you have given stated that I have to create an issue if I don't have CVS access. I have learned from previous attempts to get CVS access that my current setup and limitations in my Internet access prevents me from using CVS clients. The only other way I can think of to do this is to do all the translations at once, zip the entire file and then upload it as one file? Or do you have another suggestion?

Ok, I have applied for CVS access again, but to be honest, since I never used it before due to my inability to access CVS with my current Internet settings, I have no idea of how it works. This will most probably mean that I won't get the access - I mean, if I was in control of the CVS access, I wouldn't have given a user who openly states that he knows not how to use it, the access.

I have, in the mean time, translated 3 more modules to Afrikaans. What should I do with them? One of them is attached here, the other two (and subsequent translations) will remain on my local machine until there is a better way for me to submit them.

Any ideas?

Kobus, I will upload all PO files (at least for the first time). But please only submit a zip with all the files once they are +- completely translated. Gerhard

Thanks, Gerhard, I will send the complete zip file attached the moment I am done with it. I am going to be away from an Internet connection for about a week and when I return, I hope to be finished :)

Gerhard, as discussed, here is the complete Afrikaans translation of Drupal Core. Thanks for your efforts in getting this published.

Attached is a regular zip file with all the .po and .mo files that poEdit created. Not sure what the .mo files are for - I didn't seem to need it when I imported my .po files into my local Drupal installation. All the imports worked, and the only strings that weren't translated in my local installation were non-core modules.

Regards,

Kobus
