Is there a possibility to redirect users after filling in registration form to a thank you page with some further instructions?

Additional info: a registration confirmation e-mail with one-time login is sent so user has to check e-mails before login in... thus, it would be nice if users could be redirected to a page "thanks for registering, pls check your e-mails".... a module like "login redirect" would not help, because users are not logged in...

You can do this with login toboggan. it will either login and individual in and then redirect or it will simply do a redirect to a page.
