code tags on drupal.org

the post above has code tags in a few of the comments and the original post. They no longer work and are filtered. Even when re adding and resaving the node.

code tags with HTML tags seem to stay filtered
<img> << there is a code tag here have to view source to see
<p> << there is a code tag here have to view source to see

yet code tags with just text between them still work

Not sure if this has been reported yet, couldn't find a similar report and certainly not sure that I've placed this in the correct location.
