Errors reported in 6.0rc2

Hey, thanks for the great theme! I just installed the dev version in rc2 and am getting this error reported by Drupal:

Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /path/to/drupal/sites/all/themes/barron/page.tpl.php on line 3.

Looks like $language is the offending creature.

Doing var_dump($language) reveals:

I'm not a PHP guy, but I'll poke around and see if I can come up with a patch.
