Change to field name in dropdown

Is there any way to change the dropdown for Import to Field to use the database field name when mapping? The problem I am having is I have a node which has multiple addresses but all labeled with the word "address", however, the database naming is more descriptive - mailing_address, billing_address, etc. I looked to see if there was a call to pull the label in the .module file but I couldn't find it. Willing to change myself if I am pointed in the correct direction. Thanks.
