Adding custom banner

Recently installed Drupal 5 and modified the banner on the theme marinelli. I am new to drupal. The banner displays however, the Site Information hyper link also displays. I want to know if there is a way to remove the hyperlink as the banner has the site name. So in essence the name of the site is displayed twice, If anyone wants to see what I am referring to , let me know and i will send the link to my drupal site.

Any help would be appeciated.
