i am looking for a e-cart module to put on my site ( btw after many years with crap cms' a friend found drupal and its AWSOME)

every e-cart module i have seen will allow anyone to looking at a product image just to steal the image (right click save-as), this is fine for most things but not for what i need since i need to have a place to sell art and music ( the music is fine) so if you review a product of downloadable digital art what si the point in paying for it when you can just right click and save-as? this is a problem indeed so i am asking if anyone knows of a solution for this problem, i am not attached to any e-cart store.

While I haven't used ubercart myself, or any other e-commerce system for Drupal, I thought Ubercart provides this functionality, check out their demo site and this product: http://livetest.ubercart.org/product/ryan-and-lyle-work

Also, there is an active developer community around ubercart and I'm sure you'll find someone who can help you out if you can't set it up yourself.

Are you sure this is the actual pic that you can buy? You might want to ask them over at their own site and in the forums.

P.S. I'm pretty sure it isn't, it seems this pic is added via a cck imagefield plus imagecache functionality, and the actual image that you can download is stored as a separate file or file attachment.

well just like other carts, the pop-up pic is the same one just smaller ( ussally less quailty)
i guess a sulotion of this would be to watermark the crap out of it, but i was hoping for a cart that makes it impossible to right click it at all.

Why don't you just ask these people at ubercart? These two images, the one that is displayed (including the pop-up) and the one that you can buy are two totally different images, i.e. you can provide a lower resolution to be displayed, then an even smaller image is created for the thumbnail.

Ever used CCK plus Imagefield plus Imagecache? If not search drupal.org and you find something that explains how you can use these in order to create thumbnails in previews.

I even found a tutorial over there how to watermark your images automatically: http://www.ubercart.org/docs/user/2504/watermarking_product_images
