While working on the Commons KISSmetrics integration, which employs Rules to do the heavy lifting, I noticed that a new stable release of the Rules module had been released. When testing the new release, I found that it caused Fatal errors on a number of my environments and Commons installs.
It looks like #2090511: <7.x-2.4 breaks site with "Fatal error: Class 'RulesEventHandlerEntityBundle' not found" is the culprit and may be caused by using an opcode cache. I'd recommend avoiding the latest (7.x-2.4) version of Rules and waiting for a 2.5 release.

ezra-g commentedAgreed. I don't see anything in the Rules 2.4 release notes that are critical for Commons. Thanks for thoroughly verifying that and documenting the result.
