Video Filter will only work on my site if I set the default autoplay to yes and video site setting to youtube. If I set the autoplay to no the page will lockup when opening and the error window comes on

Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site http://mechanicalhistory.com/node/161 operation aborted. Tried back and forth to be sure. That is a page http://mechanicalhistory.com/node/161 that is effected.
BTW I had Googtube Module do the same lockup except I never could get it to work except for the first week I used it and it has no option for autoplay.

The only thing I can reproduce is the following:

  • Create a page with a [video:source] tag contaning a YouTube URL or ID.
  • Set default to GodTube (or probably any other then YouTube.
  • IE will crash when the video starts (auto or manual) because the ID is corrupt.

Until I press start nothing (bad) happends when I have autoplay turned off. If you have more information, please let me know.

PS: It would be a good thing to let plugins check if they given source string is valid instead of breaking up :)

1.x versions are no longer supported. Please re-open if this still is an issue with the latest release.
