Image node (descpription) can't be edited

Hi,

upgrading from Imgae module 1.6 to 2.x-dev on Drupal 5.6 went well (no errors when running update.php), but image descriptions (the nodes belonging to the image) can't be edited anymore.

Uploaded/attached images are displayed in the image node and in other nodes as well; the image node contains a new checkbox "Rebuild derivative images", but the node can't be saved after a description is inserted in the text body field; the error message given ist just: "You must upload an image".

I consider this critical since this is the place where legal information about the image source etc. is placed.

I'm not sure if this is related: in the field "Image attachments" in the image node, ther is _no_derivate image displayed. However, on the op the node-edit-view, the Thumbnail _is_ displayed.
