Parse error: No idea why ...

Hey I have done as the instructions say.. when i activate the module in drupal, i get the following error on a blank page

Parse error: parse error, expecting `')'' in c:\program files\easyphp1-8\www\bmht\drupal-5.5\sites\all\modules\invision\invision.module on line 578

here is the line it is calling
function _invision_sync_user($username, $password, &$account = NULL, $op, $category = "", $edit = array(), $params = array())

Any ideas ? Really need this working if ya can,
