A simple photo / picture viewer / album

Photo album
I've tested Acidfree and Gallerix.. i cant fix images (have questions about that i that forum) So the question here is Anyone have a good exampel fo a good simple photo viewer or some module a n00b can fix.
So like install this and use this options and you see one picture with no problem
So that i know it work

to quickly add images to a post, investigate the img_assist module
if you want galleries investigate the image.module

You need these modules
image
image cache
CCK
views
views bonus
thick box
use CCK to create the content type
image cache to set the dimension of the image
use views to handle the out put with the bonus grid view
and you can use thick box ,to handle the teaser out put when clicked
sorry for not adding much detail but it is late and I want to go to sleep but this will help, also with content template you can temp the view !

I dont get the picture issue
I dont get the picture issue to work.. i cant display anypicture at all.. what have i done.. I've tried to read things about it.. but cant find any..

Hmm think is some very basic thing, i cant see a picture in any part of the drupal site (logo-drupal works)
