We need to keep records of the advertisments for a site that I'm working on. I think it would be useful to provide a configuration item to disable the purging.

Attached is a patch against the module. Unfortunately I didn't install the version I patched, so I'm not certain which it was. The $Id shown in the version this patch applies against is

Bumping version: features will only be considered for the latest and next versions (was for 5.x-1.5-8).
