I'm currently unable to use command lines on my site. The only option I have is to use cpanel, but is it even possible to apply patches if I don't have command line access?

set up a local environment, whereby you can patch the files, then upload them after they are patched.

the only other method would be to do it by hand

+ means add the line
- means delete the line
