I added a friend into my install of Drupal.

Now he doesn't need it and I'm trying to delete him without any luck.

I go into Administration, Users, Click Edit next to his name and then Delete down the bottom, yet he is still there.

This is with 4.6.0

Am I doing this wrong? Or is there a different way to do it, I'm doing it as an Admin btw.

Seriously.

How do I delete a plain user, because it doesn't work for me.

Is it a bug or what's the go??

Same is happening to me. I never had this problem till i upgraded to 4.6

I reported this issue here, but when I read the follow-up comments I'm not sure I explained the full extent of the problem clearly enough. That is, deleting a user doesn't work.
