Hello,

I am trying to set up a portal www.vernisaj.ro and I am facing the following problem:
I need to have a weekly featured article on a upper box. The article must be fetched from the database.
Is there a simple method to display a node content in a box on a certain page?

Use the Views module to give you a block with the latest featured article. Then put that block in the region of your theme that you want it to show up in.

I found the views module very hard to understand...maybe i should study the region first...because everything is hazy in my mind....God bless...Regards Gingic

I was just reading about the node queue module and it sounds like it would be useful for this.

I actually solved the problem by defining a new region above "content" in my template.
That region I fill by a block created from a view.
