FAQ - "opens/hides answer under question" option disables links

I am using FAQ with FAQ_ask on a roople theme (Beale Street) I have text and links within the category term descriptions. You can see this here:

If I choose the display mode "Questions inline" as it is at the moment, all is fine.

If I choose the option "Clicking on question opens/hides answer under question" any links I put within my description text do not work. They will open successfully in a new window, but simple clicking will result in no page load.

This may be an issue with Roopletheme rather than FAQ?
