If I have a site that is version 5.2 can I upgrade directly to 5.6 or do I need to do the incremental upgrades.

follow the Update.txt file and you should be fine

does this mean it is possible to update in one time, or do you mean it has to be incremental. I also cannot find a answer to this question...

if you are at version 5.0 you can upgrade directly to 5.6
