Description

Task description
learn the concept of a taxonomie
watch the video from google - look what is possilbe with a taxonomie and a reasoner - maybe you can transfer it to your own learning in school / collage.
to go in that direction drupal needs a mightier taxonomie
so your task is to compare the actual taxonomie of drupal with the taxonomie of opencyc - it is open source.
Most interesting is how differ the two systems,
do you see a possiblity for drupal to interact with opencyc via the API?
Goal of this task is to get prepared to create a modul to work with opencyc or if you suggest use the concepts / code of opencyc to enhance the existing taxonomie

Deliverable:
a report with
1.) a abstract about the taxonomie of both systems
2.) detailed technical comparison - witch system is 'better'
3.) make a suggetion for drupals taxonomie - how to enhance it or how it could interact with opencyc

primary contact:
maybe scor?

Um, "lean something" isn't exactly a deliverable task.
If the desired result is a way to integrate the two systems, perhaps that should be the focus.

A table comparing the two systems terminologies, notation and schema could be a good start.
I'd advise working with taxonomy_xml to extend it to read/write in a format that can be used with cycs.

That project title is terrible.
