A first attempt at a simple S5 theme inspired by the Garland core theme. Firefox is refusing to bottom-align the background image it seems, looking good in Safari. I have only tested it with very simple book-page content.

cnw for the firefox fixes.

I'll try to test in IE.

Actually, it does seem to work, the background image is bottom-aligned in FF too. Leaving CNW because sometimes long lines don't seem to wrap.

So, I just downloaded this and it looks awesome!

I tested it in firefox and didn't have an alignment problem.

One problem I did notice was that if the browser was abnormally sized then the theme breaks. I guess it's because the background is one big image rather than being a header, a footer, with logo and tag lines as separate images. If we're going to keep it this way then I think it would be reasonably to make it perfect in a 1024*768 resolution (since that is fairly common for projectors) and then I'll just be sure to add a note about that somewhere.

What do you think?

I'm actually making the light blue bar along the top the background for the slide, not the page, so that it will always be visible. I think that's what you see breaking on more exotic window dimensions. I haven't seen the text not wrapping anymore either.

Glad you like! I'll post the update soonish :-)

Here are screenshots of it...basically when it's in 1024x768 it looks great.

In 1280x1024 or 800x600 it has problems.

I decided to commit it because I do my presentations at 1024x768 so it's great for me. It would be nice to support other resolutions, though, but I'll let that get fixed in another issue.

Thanks, yoroy, for this great addition.
