I am been trying to figure out how to trouble shoot this - but as far as this it should be pretty straightforward-

steps taken

  • copy and paste the template.php file contents from the mdule into the existing template.php....
  • refresh the site and go to example.com/user/uid....and should go to the "my usernode"

problem:

  • nothing happening....Old User Node shows up

Any Ideas?

I am woking in drupal 5.5 and the theme is Garland/Minnelli

i think i have to understand this more- i am thinking that i was wrong it what i thought it took over- the appending of the template - allows authored by links to go to the usernode----
