yea it really threw me off, so I have to change all taxonomy to category ?
I also notice on my my /blog url that it no longer shows all the category posts as it did before, it only goes to category/1 with page saying no content in this category, this isn't a term but the vocabulary so why would it treat it like a term ?
what happen to the taxonomy_menu/ ? ? this was for me the initial /blog page where you can see all the posts for the terms but now its not existing, this new version confusing the hell out of me, instead of making the vocabulary as the start page it treats it as a term

brmassa commenteddarumaki,
the 1.0+ version uses the "category/" as the first path structure. You should edit it on Taxonomy Menu settings page.
