I'm currently running Drupal 5.6, with Pathauto 5.x-2.0 and Category 5.x-1.1 w/ the patched pathauto module. I am able to create category paths but not category paths with a title attached at the end. i.e. I can do /directory/ but I can't do /directory/storytitle.

For my category path settings I have [catpath-raw] and my node settings I have [categorypath]/[title-raw]

If anyone could help me out here, that would be greatly appreciated!

Which patch to pathauto module are you using? You say you patched it, but not which one(s).

Beyond that, I'm not really sure. I don't use category module and don't plan to, so basically I don't plan to look at this issue again unless someone can explain to me exactly where Pathauto is at fault.

No, I guess that's the only one. I suggest you follow up in that issue or post a new issue to Category module.

I'm marking the "support request" fixed (maybe "by design" is more appropriate).
