Updating existing taxonomy terms for nodes with cck_taxonomy_ssu

Hi,
As asked on another issue, a clean issue about this request. I really, really, like this module. 2 great things: radio-button supprt and freetagging support with parent choosing. Really great!

I want to use this module on a site which is already a year having content with already tagged taxonomy terms.
How can I update my terms with using this module? Do I need to copy my normal taxonomy terms to the cck_fields?
Is there an import script? Because if I am accurate I can after installing this module assume that my taxonomy terms are updated normally if I select this option in cck_taxonomy_ssu? SO to be precise my terms are then in two databases right? (which I don't think a problem, but I want to be clear on this)

How do other people use this module with already tagged nodes in the database? An update script? Or has somebody already a patch for this? Otherwise please distribute or make the importscript to get this rocking. I am to little a programmer to do it.
