administration of module only accessable to Admin (USERID 1) however selected in permissions for others

Hi all,

I have 2-3 modules that show their admin menu ONLY to the Admin, the User with the ID 1.
However I have set the permissions for other users to access these as well, still they don't show?

Does anyone have a fix? I have set up a user role for administrators and would like them to have access to the admin area of those modules as well.
Where do I need to change anything?
