actions vs workflow ng

I just peek on your module, it looks interesting.
I have a question, isn't better workflow ng instead actions module?

I am having to use both workflow-ng and actions to generate emails around my workflow because only workflow-ng allows you to send email to all users in a given role and only actions allows you to send emails to a user selected in a user reference field. I need to do both things, therefore, I am using both modules. It would be nice if just one of them did both.

Workflow_ng is not compatible with Actions (as written on its project page)

Therefore the triggers offered by Taxonomy_actions won't work with workflow_ng... and it doesn't seem that workflow_ng offers such triggers by itself...

Yet, I would love to know how to get those taxonomy_actions (and other triggers) into workflow_ng!

BTW, I've read somewhere in the issue queue that workflow_ng could include support for actions, in certain future (issue tagged "Postponed").
