When the "Deprecated scale" action is removed, is there be another way to scale images to outer dimensions?

I currently use the plugin to scale to outer dimensions and then crop afterwards. I have seen the Scale and crop plugin, but it appears to support only cropping to center/center and not the other cropping options that are supported by the Crop plugin.

Crop anchoring will be added to scale and crop before the old scale and copy functions are completely deprecated.

wait so crop anchoring is like saying scale it then crop from the top? i'd created a custom action to do headshot crops.

I'm sure you've figured this out by now, but, yeah. The crop function allows you to set an offset in pixels, or by keyword (center, top, etc..). I've successfully used this for headshot crops.

since we're not going to be dropping the outsize scaling action i think i'm going to mark this as won't fix.
