I am trying to create the same view for images uploaded to normal page nodes. I put an imagefield on pages and they upload as thumbnails. I wish to create a block view using these thumbnails. But I only want it to be the thumbnail and the title "random video." When I create block views I only have the list/teaser/page/table options, and the thumbnails can't be used with any but the list/table.

The reason why I wish to know is because the Random Image view-block consists of divs, not lists/tables like the only two views I can create with thumbnails would use.

I'm not sure what you mean.
The Random Image block has the same HTML structure as the gallery views.
If you're using imagefield, you might be in the wrong module :)
