Hi,

with every link exists the problem, that links break and this is not recognized.
The external links - modul, could check on a regular basis witch links still exist and witch are broken.
For the broken links there could be a errormessage in the log. Or a automatic generated note in the admin queue.

This tasks seems propriate for GHOP.

This sort of link tracking it out of scope for this module. Extlink doesn't even have any database tables to store such information.
