Why is this module hosted outside drupal.org? Is there a problem with GPL license?
This is the most missing module in Drupal with potential to have as much impact as Cron or Actions, but it is not going to take off if it is handled differently from other modules :(

The "Queue Events to Messaging System" project is hosted on Drupal, source is available for download there, and is licensed under GPL. I put a link to the GPL 2 license itself in the "license" field, and just received (16 July 08) an email that they want developers to leave that field blank to indicate GPL 2.
