Although I know using alot of modules aren't ideal but I've never encountered this problem before. The process is that I would be installing modules and at some point the password fields, and comment signature field will suddenly disappear. This happens no matter what module I install at that time or how many. Just that it happens. I installed it at a sub-folder and on a linux shared host. I don't really know what else to put but any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like some hook_form_alter() collision. I'm going to assume that you solved this by reinstalling/updating the contrib modules.

Feel free to reactivate this issue if that is incorrect.
