Hello everyone,

I've just installed the Bookreview module on a fresh install of Drupal 4.6. In administer-->settings--> bookreview, I added under Explanation or submission guidelines the following text:

Thank you for taking the time to review a book!

But when a user creates a bookreview content, the above text appears twice on the submission page i.e.

---
Submit book review

Thank you for taking the time to review a book! Thank you for taking the time to review a book!
---

Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Just out of interest - if you don't add anything to the guidlines what does it output? It might be that you have coincidently thought of a closing line that is automatically output by the module.

I haven't actually used the book review module so I am just guessing but since no-one else has replied to this yet I'll throw in what I'd first check if it was me...

Hi, if I don't add anything to the guidelines then there is no output after the Submit Book Review header.

I've deleted all text in the field and typed fewer words etc but each time any text in the guidelines field will get repeated when displayed at the Book Review creation page. :(

The next thing I'd look at is what the output code looks like and whether in the code/theme you have the variable for the guidelines in twice by accident. I can't really help you I'm afraid on what to look for because as I said, I don't use the book review module.

Are you using your own theme or a prepackaged theme?

I've tried Blue Marine, Marvin and SpreadFireFox themes, and I get the same thing happening, so it looks like the theme might not be the problem. Any idea what I could look at next? Thanks.

I really have no idea now. Since it happens in all themes I would suggest that it's something to do with the module.

You are using a 4.6 module with drupal 4.6? If this is the case I can only suggest you try to contact the module maker and see if they can help. Alternatively, file a bug report.

Sorry I can't be any more help but I've reached the limit of my understanding.

Kat.
