Block/Search/Search Results without Search Block

When configuring search block to not appear on the search results page then no search results are presented.

The only block I have on the results page (in the right margin) is the search block, removing the search block from right margin may not pass the search entry text/data to the search results page?

- Search block in right margin
- Config Search Block: Show on every page except listed pages
--search/node
--search/node/*
