In the lable of a field I have got the character "&".
Wehen validating the HTML-page with http://validator.w3.org/check I am getting an validation error which says: character "&" is the first character of a delimiter but occurred as data.

Is there a chance to get this correctly escaped?

As a workaround I entered the entity "& amp ;" (without the blanks!) instead of "&" in the label-field now. This entity shows up only in the label-field of the "Edit field"-dialog and is correctly displayed as "&" in all other dialogs including the node.

This issue seems to be fixed with 5.x-1.9. The workaround described in #1 does not work any more. Changing back to "&" works fine.
